Bartender

Summary (Essential Functions): Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Maintain bar area and equipment.

Details: Job tasks include, but are not limited to:

• Inspect bar prior to opening to ensure adequate supplies are available; follow set-up procedures
• Greet members and guests by name
• Mix, prepare, and serve drinks to members and guests according to the recipes approved by the Bar Manager
• Process charge tickets and obtain member signatures
• Report complaints to management immediately
• Maintain and clean bar area and equipment; lock up bar area according to prescribed procedures
• Maintain daily inventory and records indicating drinks in the greatest demand
• Carefully follow all laws and club policies and procedures regarding alcoholic beverage service; inform manager if continued service to a member or guest is in question
• Complete other appropriate work assignments as requested by management

Qualifications: Qualified candidates will have bartending experience, preferably in an upscale dining establishment. Qualified candidates will be reliable, professional, and able to successfully work in a team environment. Candidates will have effective listening and communication skills and a strong desire to provide excellent service. All candidates will work to ensure the fulfillment of the Club's mission to provide a warm and friendly environment for our members and guests, through commitment and dedication with a personal touch. *Must be 21 years of age.
